Founded by Marcelo Puruncajas, we partner with local experts to deliver professional mountain guiding services across snow-capped volcanoes, hot springs, traditional cultura, and colorful markets. The home base of Andes climbs & treks isn’t just an office—it’s an integral part of your adventure. Nestled just minutes from Quito, near the Pan-American Highway, our spacious house serves multiple essential roles in your adventure:

  • Logistics Hub – With quick access to north and south routes, it streamlines every trip across Ecuador’s Andes.
  • Guest Lodging – Comfortable rooms offer the perfect space to rest and acclimatize before your climbing or trekking.
  • Training Ground – As the first part of our Glacier Classes, you’ll spend time here on dry terrain practicing key “soft skills” like self-arrest techniques, rope systems, and glacier travel fundamentals, before going to the real environment
    —all within a safe, supportive environment.
